Exciting Events at Birdsnest Arts Catthorpe.

March witnessed a hive of activity at Birdsnest Arts Catthorpe with the introduction of a Life Drawing class for Beginners to compliment our general Life Drawing class.
This was followed with fun Easter activities for our younger artist friends with a stopmotion puppet making session, which was great fun.
We began by spinning the wire, followed by a good warmup for the clay.
Having built a wire and cork frame we proceeded to wind the wire with foam.
finally a head was added and the creature was covered with the modelling clay.
This was two hours of sheer concentration and I as the tutor was well looked after by my young colleague.
Now it is April and our next Life Drawing Class will take place on April 13th at Catthorpe Manor Farm, LE17 6DB.
This month we have a female model.
All materials are provided so come and join us for a convivial night of Drawing.
